Hello Maple View family!

The month of August & September seemed to fly by, but you know the saying, “time flies when you’re having fun”, and we certainly had a lot of fun.

Vacation Bible school kicked off August 10th and we continued our tradition of Middle School VBS. We had a great group of kids both from and outside of Maple View. They heard the word, learned more about God, and even learned some about Alaska.

August also had the return of “Destination Unknown”. On August 20th for Destination Unknown the youth went to the Union Mission to sort and pack food, followed by some food and a night of trivia.

For the August 27th Destination Unknown the youth went to the Wytheville Rec Center for a night of swimming and other fun activities like rock wall climbing.

September was a fantastic month as well as we got back into the swing of our fall programming with “Big Brain Energy”, a look at the wisdoms of Proverbs.

September also saw the return of “Formation Students” led by our very own Chance Ferguson and Kyler Carpenter. There are a lot of great things happening at MV Teens and we are excited to see your kids grow.

Hello Maple View!

The kids had an exciting August & September, trusting Jesus in a wild world! VBS was the main event, thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and children who participated. Memories were made, friendships created, and lives were touched. Way to go Maple View! When in doubt, you can…. TRUST JESUS!

The picnic on the following Sunday was the cherry on top. The kids went all in with traditional games like the potato sack race, musical chairs, and cornhole. The treasure chest was raided, and the kids had a blast!
