Jeremiah Holcomb - lead Minister
A native of Colorado Springs and a Timothy of Pikes Peak Christian Church, Jeremiah accepted the call into vocational ministry as a Junior in High School. He attended Manhattan Christian College where he earned his B.A. in Bible and Pastoral Ministries. Jeremiah has served Gridley Christian Church (Gridley, KS), Crossroads Christian Church (Shawnee, KS, Youth Minister), Christian Church of Burlington (Burlington, KS), and planted The Refuge Christian Church (Eudora, KS). He joined the ministry at Maple View Church of Christ, October 1, 2022.
Jeremiah married his wife, Megan and the Lord has crowned their marriage with five sons. As a family, they love hiking trails, camping, being with people and serving the Lord.
There is one measure Jeremiah wants to measure his ministry by: How many disciples did he make that make disciples.
Eric Vance - Youth Minister
I am a West Virginia native, being born and raised in Jackson County, WV. I recently lived in Charleston, WV for the past 7 years before transitioning to Bluefield, WV. I am a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor's degree in sports management, and an MBA in Project Management. I felt the Lord calling me to vocational ministry and enrolled at Liberty University where I am currently pursuing my MA in Applied Ministry with a focus on Discipleship and Counseling.
The Lord led me to Maple View, a journey which could have only been directed by Him. I joined the staff here in July of 2024, and before that had volunteered at my previous church home in youth and in the annual Easter play.
I married my beautiful and loving wife Heather in June 2012, we welcomed our daughter Logan in August 2013, and our son Gideon in November of 2018.
I love spending time with my family, working out, hiking, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Mountain State.
Adam Maxwell - Media Minister
I am local resident of Bluefield, WV but grew up just down the road in Speedway, WV. I have attended Maple View for a large portion of my life and started working here in May of 2018. I am a college graduate of Johnson University in Knoxville, TN with a double major in Bible and Theology and Communications focusing in Media Ministry. I believe that God has blessed me with the opportunity to have my first post college ministry at my home church with all of my family and friends to be by my side.
I married my beautiful bride Kaitlyn, on May 26, 2017 and we have 1 daughter named Clara that was born in 2023.
I love watching Clara learn new things, eating delicious foods, playing video games, going kayaking, playing with the latest and greatest technology, playing music, and hanging out with friends.
Linda Ferguson - AdministraTive Assistant
I grew up in Oakvale, WV. I have been the Administrative Assistant at Maple View since June 2007. I enjoy interacting with people of all ages and am glad to be a part of God's family here at Maple View.
Mike & I have been married since November 9, 2006. We have a blended family with 10 children between us.
I enjoy reading. Some of my favorite authors are A.W. Tozer, C.S. Lewis, Elisabeth Elliott, Ruth Chou Simons, Dietrich Bonhoeffer & Frances Chan.
